Essential Qualification
Doctoral degree in relevant field of Agriculture/
Horticulture/Animal Sciences / Fisheries including
relevant basic Sciences with 4 years experience as
Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an
equivalent position in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-
13500 (Revised Pay Band-3, Pay Scale Rs.15600-
39100 + RGP Rs. 5400), having made contribution
to Research/Teaching/Extension Education as
evidenced by published work/innovations
OR
Doctoral degree in relevant field of Agriculture /
Horticulture/Animal Sciences/Fisheries including
relevant basic sciences with 4 years experience of
high quality post – doctoral research in an
institution of repute evidence by publications in high
impact/renowned journals.
Specialization in implementing Extension Education .
Pay Band -3
15600-39100
+RGP Rs.8000
Age Limit – Not more than 45 years on the date of advertisement. Relaxable by 5 years in case of
SC/ST Candidates.
Age relaxation is applicable to the candidates who are already in service of KVK/ICAR
Institute/Agri. University.
Higher Qualifications for the relevant posts will be preferred.
