it is hereby informed that Non-medical candidates may also apply for the posts of Professor/Assistant Professor in the following departments:
1. Anatomy
2. Physiology; and
3. Pharmacology
Professors (Non-Medical) will be in the Scale of Pay -- PB-4: 37400-67000 + GP 10,500/-(Academic Grade Pay) with a minimum of Rs.51, 600/- without NPA
Assistant Professors (Non-Medical) will be in the Scale of Pay -- PB-3: Rs.15600-39100 + GP 8000/- (Academic Grade Pay) with a minimum of Rs.30, 000/- without NPA
The details of qualifications and experience for the Non-medical candidates shall be as under:
Professors (Non-Medical)
Educational qualifications
1. Post Graduate Qualifications, eg; Master’s Degree in the Discipline or allied subjects
2. A Doctorate (Ph. D) Degree from a recognized University/institute
Experience:
14 years’ teaching and/or research experience in the discipline or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree
Note: In case candidates with the required experience is not available, the post of Professor will be operated at the level of Additional Professor in the Scale of Pay PB-4 37400-67000 + GP 9,500/-(Academic Grade Pay) with a minimum of Rs.46,000/- without NPA
Assistant Professors (Non-Medical)
Educational Qualifications
1. Post Graduate Qualifications, eg; Master’s Degree in the Discipline or allied subjects
2. A Doctorate (Ph. D) Degree from a recognized University/institute
Experience:
3 years’ teaching and/or research experience in the discipline or subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate Degree
