Applications are invited from candidates for the position of Director, Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), University of Lucknow. The Director is expected to provide leadership in promoting and smooth running of portfolio of professional management courses in the university set-up.
1. Qualifications and Experience
a. Essential
i) First class Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Management/ Administration
ii) Ph.D. or equivalent
iii) Minimum of 15 years’ experience of post graduate teaching /industry /research
b. Desirable
i) Post Ph.D publications and guiding of Ph.D. students
ii) Administrative experience in senior level responsible position in industry /professional
institution.
2. Terms
The appointment will be made for a period of three years. The position is on contractual payment of Rs. 85,000/- per month with an enhancement of Rs. 5000/-per year subject to recommendation of the Appraisal Committee.
