IIT BOMBAY REQUIRES TECHNICAL ASSISTANT/AUGUST 2011

Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Corrosion Science & Engineering of this Institute. Theposition is temporary initially for a period of  1 Year  and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

Project Code, Project Title & Funding Agency 09IN002 : "Maintenance of Lab Equipment of Dept. ofCorrosion Science & Engineering" (Income from Instrument/ Services) Position & Salary Technical Assistant (1 Post ) Consolidated salary Rs.15000/- p.m. Qualification Graduate with at least 3 years experience in analytical laboratory work involving corrosion testing, evaluation, writing report and taking care of laboratory Job Profile The Person has to carry out various kinds of corrosion testing, evaluation, report writing and taking care of lab, maintenance of equipments etc.

The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
