temporary post of JRF in the FEL LAB, Laser Bhavan, DAVV funded by Department of Science and
Technology (DST) , Govt of India, New Delhi,India.
Project Title: Optimization of Permanent and Electromagnet Undulators for Free Electron Lasers
Duration: Three years
Qualification: M. Sc. in Physics / M.Phil in Physics / M.sc in Applied physics
Monthly Fellowship:
Rs. 16000/- + (HRA+ MA) for NET qualified students,
Rs 8000/- + (HRA+ MA) for others (likely to be revised)
Desirable: Candidates with good background in basic electromagnetic theory/ laser Physics/free electron
laser physics with programming knowledge in C++ /Fortran will be given preference.
Duties: i. To do experiment of undulator field measurement in hall probe bench and pulsed wire bench &
develop a simulation code ii. To develop theory of free electron laser and inverse free electron
laser schemes
selection: The selection will be will be done on the basis of an interview to be conducted at laser Bhavan
DAVV,Indore on a notified date. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No
TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview..
