Knowledge of computer applications.
Desirable • PhD in relevant subject.
• Strong knowledge of advanced statistical software
like SPSS,SAS, STATA etc
Emoluments Rs 23000 pm + H.R.A.
Rs 24000 pm + H.R.A. for PhD

Responsibilities • The incumbent will be responsible for gathering
and creating data in ArcMap
• Creating and updating geo-database layers with
data obtained from research
• Able to work with tabular data in relation to geodatabase layers
• Create metabase within geo-database
• Special skills: must be familiar with ArcMap and
Geo-database. Have knowledge of data
conversion.

Responsibilities • Applicant should have excellent communication
skills in spoken and written local language.
• Investigate into the rural poverty and agriculture in
the Humid Tropics of India mainly through
collection of quality data.
• Provide useful feedback from the village to the
research team at NCAP to improve the
questionnaires and also to fill the gaps unearthed
by quantitative data.
• In the process, the incumbent is expected to build a
good rapport with the villagers and communicate
with them on a regular basis in local
languages/dialects.
