For engagement of Project Assistants (Level - III) under sponsored project

B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engg./Tech. With minimum 55 % Marks
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of hazardous waste management
(Candidates with knowledge of site assessment/remediation and experience in
analysis of environmental samples will be preferred)
5. Job Requirement : 1. Monitoring of remediation activities as per the guidelines provided by NEERI
2. Sampling and analysis of soil, water and other environmental samples at the
site (Kodaikanal)
3. Any other project assistance desired by NEERI
The candidates shall travel periodically between project site and NEERI Head
Quarter at Nagpur for various project activities.
6. Fixed remuneration : Rs. 14000/- Per Month (Project Assistant Level III)
7. Age Limit : 28 Years (maximum)
8. Relaxation : Relaxation in Qualification and Age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as Per GOI
instructions
The engagement is purely on a temporary basis, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the
sponsored project, satisfactory performance/conduct of the appointee. The engagement will be co-terminus with the
project duration. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would,
therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption.
Interested and eligible candidates may apply with detailed bio-data specifying date of birth, educational qualifications and
experience etc. by post/courier/e-mail to Project Leader and appear for walk-in interview on 11/10/2011 at 10.30 A.M.
No Traveling Allowance will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Candidates who do not fulfill the
prescribed criteria will not be interviewed. No interim inquiries will be entertained in this regard.
