Announcement for the Position of Web - Administrator
Nature of Work: To develop and maintain the Alumni Association, IIT Kanpur web-site and to develop and maintain web-based applications required for automation of certain Alumni office functions with a RDBMS backend.Qualifications:
*B.Tech./MCA or equivalent
*At least 2 years of relevant experience is desirable, but fresh graduates who show a good grasp of the required knowledge and skills will also be considered.
Knowledge and Skills required:
* Knowledge and experience with web-technologies (ASP, PHP, HTML, Java Script and other web technologies,) Database management systems (RDBMS, SQL, Pl Sql, Query Analyzer) MS Access - Reports, Queries, Forms
* Familiarity with Linux and knowledge of Linux administration.
* Must be self-motivated, should be able to work to a schedule, and should have the determination and sense of responsibility to take the project to successful deployment.
* Good written & verbal expression in English
Salary: Rs.10000 - 20000 per month depending on qualification and experience.
