RECRUITMENT OF DEAN, PROFESSORS, ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS AND ASSISTANT PROFESSORS FOR ESI PGIMSRs,
ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGES AND ESIC DENTAL COLLEGE
A. Recruitment of Dean in ESIC Medical Colleges located at (i) Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), (ii) Sanath Nagar (Andhra Pradesh), (iii) Mandi (Himachal Pradesh), (iv) Faridabad (Haryana), (v) Patna (Bihar) & (vi) Gulbarga (Karnataka).
B. Recruitment of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors for ESI PGIMSRs located at– New Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Mumbai.
C. Recruitment of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors for ESIC, Dental College, Rohini, Sector – 15, New Delhi.
EMOLUMENTS:
PAY: Selected candidates will draw a starting Pay (Pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay) as
under:
In addition to Pay they will also be eligible for D. A., NPA, H.R.A. and Transport Allowance
as per rules in force from time to time.
At present average minimum monthly emoluments including DA, NPA, HRA and Transport
Allowance in Metropolitan Cities is as under:
Dean and Professor - Rs. 1, 17, 987/- per month.
Associate Professor - Rs. 1, 03, 256/- per month.
Assistant Professor - Rs. 58, 955/- per month.
PERQUISITES: ESIC traditionally looks after its employees well accordingly facilities for
reimbursement of entertainment, mobile, telephone, internet, newspapers etc. are
available. Other facilities like Leave Travel Concession (LTC), Encashment of Earned
Leave, advances for various purposes etc. are also available as per scheme of the
Corporation.
General Conditions:-
(i) The crucial date for determining the age limit and other eligibility criteria shall be the closing date for
receipt of applications from candidates in India i.e. 05-10-2011 and not the closing date prescribed for
those in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh
Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba district
of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
(ii) Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate for being called for interview.
A candidate should submit only one application for one post. However the candidate must mention
the preference of Posting in the Application Form. In case candidate wants to apply for more than one
post e.g. Dean and Professor than he should submit separate application form for the post of Dean and
separate application form for the post of Professor.
Similarly separate application form should be submitted for separate ESIC Institutions viz. (a) ESIC
Medical College - Coimbatore, Sanath Nagar, Mandi, Faridabad, Patna & Gulbarga, (b) ESI PGIMSRs –
New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore & Chennai and (c) ESIC Dental College, New Delhi
(iii) The preference of posting shall be considered depending upon the vacancy vis-à-vis reservation
position in the concerned ESI-PGIMSR/ESIC Medical College.
(iv) Application should be submitted in the prescribed form only. It should be filled up in block/capital letters
in the candidates own handwriting.
(v) Incomplete or Unsigned applications or the applications received without the certified copies of mark
sheets /certificates of educational qualification, application fee, postal charges, caste certificate and
photographs and those received after the last date of receipt of applications will summarily be rejected
without any communication to the candidate.
(vi) Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to
cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
(vii) Application should be sent in a cover super-scribed “Application for the post of
____________________________ for ESI PGIMSR/ESIC Medical College _______________/ESIC, Dental
College, New Delhi” by Speed Post/ Registered Post so as to reach at the address mentioned above on
or before the stipulated date.
(viii) Candidates selected shall be liable to be posted anywhere in India as per the requirements of the
Corporation.
(ix) The Corporation takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt or losses in postal transit of any
application or communication.
(x) Before applying for the post the candidate should ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility criteria
mentioned above. The Corporation would be free to reject any application at any stage of selection
process if the candidate is found ineligible for the post for which he has applied.
(xi) The selection for the above posts will be on the basis of interview which will be conducted by the
Selection Board at designated centres. However ESIC reserves the right to change the centre, if need be.
The results of the interview will be published in the Newspapers and on the website of the Corporation
and no inquiry or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
(xii) Fee once paid is not refundable.
(xiii) Canvassing in any form will be disqualification.
(xiv) Disqualification – No person:-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) Who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person; shall be
eligible for appointment to the said posts. Provided that the Director General may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this Regulation.
Last date of receipt of application is 05-10-2011.
For candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura,
Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Lakshsdweep, the last date for receipt ofapplication will be 12-10-2011.
