Invites suitable candidates to work as Teaching Assistants on contract basis for the academic session 2011-12 in the Departments of Applied Mechanics (01), Chemistry (01), Civil Engineering (01), Computer Science (02), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (06), Electronics & Communication Engineering (01), Humanities (03), Mathematics (04), Mechanical Engineering (01), Physical Education (Male 02, Female 01)

. The numbers in the bracket indicate the tentative number of the posts to be filled.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.     Engineering Departments: First Class or equivalent grade in the appropriate branch of Engineering.

2.     Mathematics/Chemistry/Humanities Department: Master’s Degree in Mathematics/ Chemistry/English resp.

3.     Physical Education : Masters degree in Physical Education with 55% of marks and representation of        National/Interuniversity level of any game.

The persons with higher qualifications & good academic record shall be given preference.

Consolidated remuneration (without any allowances):

       B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc./M.A. – Rs. 18, 000 per month

       M.E./M.Tech – Rs. 21,600 per month

       Ph.D. – Rs. 22, 600 per month

                  

Only eligible candidates shall walk-in for personal interview on Friday, the July 8, 2011 at 11.00 a.m. in the respective departments, alongwith their applications with passport size photo affixed on it, Bio-data, relevant original certificates & one set of attested copies of these certificates.
