Graduate from a Recognized University.
Qualified Experienced Test Pilot (Rotary Wing) from a recognized Institute such as
ASTE or foreign Test Pilot’s School.
RANK IN SERVICES:
The applicants who have minimum three years of Service in the following rank at the time
of premature retirement;
Wg Cdr : for Indian Airforce
Commander : for Indian Navy
Lt Col : for Indian Army
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Experience on experimental flight testing of Helicopters and integration of various
systems of Helicopter. Must have flown ALH or Chetak/Cheetah Helicopters as
Test Pilot
Must be adequately familiar with performance, flying qualities and systems of ALH
and Chetak / Cheetah Helicopters
AGE LIMIT: Maximum 45 Years as on the date of application
The Serving Officer's last drawn Basic Pay (Pay-in-band + Grade Pay) and DA will be
protected as Basic + DA+ Personal Pay (Personal Pay, if required) on permanent
absorption in HAL as Test Pilot in the appropriate Scale of Pay in HAL, with reference to the
Rank of the Officer.
