RECRUITMENT
Applications are invited for the posts of Two Junior Research Fellows in a
Ministry of Environment & Forests sponsored project on ‘Taxonomy of Indian
Freshwater Cladocera (Crustacea: Branchiopoda) with special emphasis on
faunal and ecosystem diversity in different states of North Eastern India”
sanctioned to Prof. B. K. Sharma, Department of Zoology, North-Eastern Hill
University, Shillong-793022.

experience.

personal interview to be held in the Department of Zoology on September 29,
2011 at their own expense.
The project involves extensive field work in different parts of India including
different states of northeast India. Only the candidates with aptitude in taxonomic
research and interest in field surveys need apply.
Qualifications:
M. Sc in Zoology, preferably with NET
Experience in Aquatic Biology / Limnology / Taxonomy
Emoluments:
@ Rs. 12,000 + 20% HRA per month
