The Canara Bank Chair Professorship in Banking & Finance at IIM Bangalore
Canara Bank, a leading public sector Bank in India, has established the Canara Bank Chair in Banking and Finance at IIMB. This Research Chair will advance work on issues relevant to the broad areas of banking and finance. It will also seek to create an impact through research and thought leadership relevant to the industry. Indian banking and financial systems are changing significantly in a rapidly globalising environment. Joint Faculty Appointments
We welcome applications for Joint Appointments between IIM Bangalore and any other leading Business School. Faculty on such joint appointments will normally be expected to spend at least one term of about 12 weeks every year at IIMB and teach a course. We expect that this will provide an opportunity to establish ongoing research collaborations between IIMB faculty, doctoral students and the faculty on joint appointment. Distinguished Visiting Faculty

Faculty will normally be expected to spend a term or more at IIMB and teach a course. Unlike the Joint appointment this is not a long term appointment. Faculty Positions
The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is looking for candidates at all levels. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level must demonstrate capability for carrying out high quality research and should have completed or be in the final stages of their Ph.D. Associate Professors should have a track record of research. Professors are additionally expected to provide leadership in research activities. Candidates would be expected to contribute to the Institute's PGDM (MBA), doctoral, and executive programmes.
