17th October 2011Subject: Recruitment of two Junior Project Fellows (JPFs) – Walk-in-Interview under the
following projects:
1. Study of Physics Curriculum at Higher Secondary Stage
2. Study of Biology Curriculum at Higher Secondary Stage
The Department of Education in Science and Mathematics, NCERT will hold a walk-ininterview to recruit two Junior Project Fellows on purely temporary basis. The interview will be held
on 4th November 2011 at 10.30 A.M. in the Room No. 2, 1st Floor, Science Block, NCERT, New
Delhi. The terms and conditions of the fellowship are as follows:
1 Qualifications
a) Essential : For Project No. 1 - At least IInd Class Master’s degree
(M.Sc.) in Physics with minimum 55% marks and
For Project No. 2 - At least IInd Class Master’s degree
(M.Sc.) in Zoology/Botany/Life Science/Bio-Sciences
with minimum 55% marks
b) Desirable i) National Eligibility Test (NET)
ii) Knowledge of English and experience of
working on computer
2. Age Limit : 30 years (with relaxation of 5 years for women
and SC/ST candidates)
3. Tenure of Fellowship : Upto 31st March 2012
4. Fellowship amount : Rs.8,000/- p.m. (consolidated)
NOTE
1. The candidates should bring their original certificates at the time of interview.
2. Fellowship is temporary with no provision of increment in the amount.
3. The candidates already in job should forward their application through their employer.
4. The Junior Project Fellow who have already worked in the Council for two and half years need
not apply.
5. No TA/DA is admissible either for attending the interview or joining the post.
