control measures to prevent entry of exotic disease of animals.
(iii) To assist the Director in developing the system of research project file, recording of research
programmes, monitoring and surveillance of exotic/emerging disease research activities and to develop
communication and information retrieval system for exotic disease of animals and birds.
(iv) To assist the Director in building up meaningful collaborative Research/disease diagnosis/teaching and
exotic and emerging disease of animals and birds with other Research Institutes and Agricultural Universities
at National/international levels.
(v) To act as a counterpart of foreign experts in execution of the project activities on behalf of the Director,
IVRI.
