the project “Creep Resistant ODS Steels through Powder Forging” sponsored by Board of Research in
Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Dept. of Atomic Energy (DAE), Govt. of India. The age limit for the
candidates is 32 years and the selected candidate must register for Ph.D.
Project title: Creep Resistant ODS Steels through Powder Forging
Qualifications: M.E/M.Tech (Metallurgical / Materials Engg, Materials Science,
Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engg.)
Fellowship: Rs 18000 (First two years) / Rs. 20,000 (third year) + HRA (as per rules)
Area of Research: Powder Metallurgy / Metal Forming.

Applicant must have keen interest in research and must enroll for Ph.D. The selected candidate should be
in a position to stay for at least 3 years at IIT Roorkee for the successful completion of the project as well

A Walk-In Interview will be held on 15 th November 2011 (Tuesday) at 11:00 AM in the Department of
Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, IIT Roorkee where in the candidate will be required to bring
along his / her application and educational details (copies of the marks sheets/certificates/testimonials, age
proof ) for the interview.
The upper age limit is relaxed upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories,
women and physically handicapped candidates. No TA/DA is permissible for attending the interview.
