Contractual Appointment of Advisors Through Walk-in-Interview

3. Type of Employment : Contract
4. Method of Recruitment : Walk-In Interviews
5. Tenure : Initially for a period of one year, extendable on satisfactory
performance by another two years – one year at a time - or up
to the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
6. Eligibility :
i. Category : Superannuated / Retired / Voluntary Retired Officers from
(a) PSUs including Hindustan Copper Limited; and
(b) Government including IBM / GSI / etc.
ii. Qualification : Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
iii. Experience :
Essential : (a) 25 years with minimum 03 years in handling a Project.
(b) Must have worked as General Manager (E-8) / Executive
Director (E-9) in a reputed organisation.
(c) Should have sound knowledge of Project Execution.
Preferred : (a) Experience in Underground Metal Mining.
(b) Independent in-charge of Underground Mining Project.
iv. Age : Should be less than 63 years.
7. Date of Reckoning : The cut-off date for reckoning eligibility shall be 01/09/2011.
8. Emoluments & Benefits : (a) Consolidated Remuneration of Rs. 51,500 per month.
(b) Other benefits shall be in accordance with the Company’s
Policy in this regard.
9. Scope of Work : (a) Verification of all technical documents and drawings and
processing recommendations for approval of Engineer-incharge.
(b) Monitoring of timely execution of implementation
schedules.
(c) Monitoring and timely completion of Joint Survey for actual
work done in the following month.
(d) Conduct review meetings – bimonthly or as and when
required – with representatives of HCL and Contractor(s).
(e) Resolve disputes, if any, between HCL and Contractor(s)
by interaction with their representatives.
(f) Monitoring of safe operating practices of the work
executed by the Contractor(s).
(g) Any other work assigned from time-to-time in respect of
the Projects.

2. Place of Posting : Corporate Office, Kolkata
3. Type of Employment : Contract
4. Method of Recruitment : Walk-In Interviews
5. Tenure : Initially for a period of one year, extendable on satisfactory
performance by another two years – one year at a time - or up
to the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.
6. Eligibility :
i. Category : Superannuated / Retired / Voluntary Retired Officers from
(a) PSUs including Hindustan Copper Limited; and
(b) Government including IBM / GSI / etc.
ii. Qualification : Graduate with CA / ICWA.
iii. Experience :
Essential : (a) 20 years.
(b) Must have worked as Deputy General Manager (E-7) /
Assistant General Manager (E-6) in a reputed
organisation.
(c) Should have sound knowledge of all facets of Finance &
Accounts.
Preferred : (a) Experience in Compilation and Monitoring of Capital and
Revenue Budget.
(b) Knowledge of Oracle based ERP system.
iv. Age : Should be less than 63 years.
7. Date of Reckoning : The cut-off date for reckoning eligibility shall be 01/09/2011.
8. Emoluments & Benefits : (a) Consolidated Remuneration of Rs. 51,500 / 43,500 per
month respectively.
(b) Other benefits shall be in accordance with the Company’s
Policy in this regard.
9. Scope of Work : (a) Monitoring of timely completion of all financial activities
under ERP.
(b) Solving the Set-Up and Transaction issues related to ERP.
(c) Monitoring of Capital & Revenue Budget and reporting
exceptions from analysis of Monthly Cost Data.
(d) Liaisoning and coordination with Consultants for
implementation of IFRS and upgradation of ERP system.
(e) Any other work assigned from time-to-time related thereto.
4. The Application Blank is attached. The candidates are advised to submit their application
in the prescribed proforma.
5. The General Instruction for convenience of the Applicants is indicated at Annexure.General Instructions
1) The age and experience shall be reckoned as on 01 September, 2011.
2) Self attested photocopies of the following documents should be attached with the application
and the original certificates shall be required to be presented at the time of Interview.
a. Matriculation / Secondary Certificate as proof of Date of Birth.
b. Mark sheet / Certificate in support of qualification and experience.
c. Caste Certificate in format prescribed by the Govt. of India, if applicable.
d. Disability Certificates issued by Competent Authority if seeking age relaxation.
3) In case of variation in name / surname / name spelling mentioned in the application with that
in the certificates pertaining to education / professional qualification / Caste / etc., the applicant
shall be required to submit a certificate from SDM or equivalent to this effect failing which the
candidature shall be liable to be cancelled.
4) HCL reserves the right to fill the posts or alter the number of posts or cancel the process of
contractual engagement in full or part without assigning any reason therefor.
5) Selected candidate shall be liable to serve in any of the Company’s Units.
6) Any amendment / corrigendum shall be hosted only on the Company’s website
(www.hindustancopper.com).
