Applications are invited for the post of Computer Trainee in the computer
center of the institute. These are temporary posts meant for imparting on
the job training to the selected candidates. The training period will be of one
year. On satisfactory completion of the training period, a certificate will be
awarded. Those who had already undergone such training will not be
considered. A stipend of Rs. 8,000/- per month will be paid during the
period of training.
No of posts : 06 (Six) nos. (Number may vary)
Minimum qualification and experience: Three year diploma in Computer
Science and Engineering/ Electronics or Bachelor degree in Science and
PGDCA or equivalent from a recognized university.
Selected candidates will be required to do shift duty and staggered duty.
General Information:
1. Candidates should be preferable between 18-30 years of age.
2. Prescribed applications are obtainable in person from the undersigned or
by writing to Dy. Registrar (Admn.) enclosing a self addressed stamped
(Rs. 08/- ) envelope (25cm x 10 cm Size) or downloadable from our web
site (www.iitg.ernet.in or www.iitg.ac.in). Only applications in the
prescribed format will be considered
3. Incomplete applications in any aspect or applications without attested
copies of certificates, where ever necessary, are liable to be rejected.
4. Applications in the prescribed format should be sent to The Head,
Computer Centre, IIT Guwahati, Guwahati-781039, on or before 14
October 2011, 04:00 pm.
