Essential Qualification
• Applicants must possess a Post-Graduate Degree in social science (population studies,
social work, sociology, Public Health, Epidemiology, etc.) including statistics from a
recognized university.
Job Responsibilities
• Providing research and analytical assistance to the consortium organization,
• Contribution to writing research articles and documentation;
• Working with consortium partners
Essential Competencies:
• An excellent understanding of statistical techniques in population and social science
research with a commitment to address research issues from HIV/AIDS perspective is
essential.
• An excellent understanding of various computer applications such as Ms-office, SPSS,
STATA and others are expected.
• The candidate must have demonstrated ability to work in a team is a requirement.
Desirable Competencies:
• Proven experience in social research or implementation (1 -2 years) is essential.
• Excellent oral and writing skills in English are required.
• Knowledge of Marathi and Hindi with other Indian languages is desirable.
