MALAVIYA NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY JAIPUR REQUIRES JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW/JULY 2011

Application is invited for one purely temporary project post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in
the research project funded by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), New 
Delhi, titled “Design and Simulation of Tunable Photonic Crystal Structures for Novel All 
Optical Applications (DeSimPCS)” in the Department of Electronics and Communication
Engineering, MNIT Jaipur. The post is for a maximum period of about 15 months. Initially the
appointment will be made for one year, with possibility of extension for remaining duration of
the project, on the recommendation of the PI of the project
.
Salary*: Rs. 12000/- per month + 20% HRA. (likely to be revised to 16000/- per month +20%
HRA).
*[Revision of salary is likely to be done by the funding agency DRDO.]

Minimum Qualifications: First class B.E./B.Tech. (Electronics Engineering/relevant discipline)
or M.Sc. (Physics/Electronics/Applied Electronics/other discipline relevant to the theme of the
project). Preferable: GATE/NET score/ M.Tech. Degree in relevant discipline/ some experience
of research work in relevant area.

Note: The candidate may have the additional opportunity  to pursue his/her PhD in the
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, MNIT Jaipur in the same area as
per the Institute rules subject to performance of the candidate, eligibility, approval and other
conditions laid by the Institute.

Shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview/test, the information about the date and venue

candidates to be called for the interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and
experience higher than the minimum prescribed above.
