OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR KHADI & VILLAGE INDUSTRIES COMMISSION
AS FOCAL PERSON FOR MOBILIZING BANK FINANCE IN KVI SECTOR
The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), a statutory body under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India and a nodal agency for rural industrialisation is implementing Khadi Reform and Development Programme (KRDP) to further strengthen the khadi sector particularly the employment generation programme.
KVIC invites application from experienced, talented Finance Professional with outstanding professional competence, observable leadership traits and experience in working capital management/financing of micro and small enterprises and/or working in micro finance institution to work as focal person for reassessing working capital requirement for khadi production and to engage with the bankers for enhancing access of Khadi Institutions to bank finance in meeting their working capital needs.
· Act as the nodal officer to assess the need based working capital requirements of the Khadi institutions [NGOs].
· Discussion with Banks and financial institutions in formulation of appropriate working capital norms for khadi institutions.
· Interaction with MoMSME, MoF and RBI for getting approval of said working capital norms for the Khadi sector.
· Liaising with banks and financial institutions for arranging the need based working capital funds for NGOs at competitive rates.
· Offer professional consultancy inputs for treasury and fund management of KVIC.
Qualification: CA/ICWA/Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Management from a reputed Institute / University with specialisation in Finance.
Experience: The incumbent should have at least 15 years of relevant experience with 10 years at a senior management position with practical exposure in working capital management/financing of Small and Medium Enterprises or working in micro financing institutions. The incumbent should be conversant with the banking and financing norms. Experience in treasury and fund management shall be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 60 years.
Tenure of Appointment: On contract for an initial duration of 2 years against performance appraisal at the end of each year, linked to review of the contract.
Compensation: The compensation package will not be a constraint and is negotiable in case of specially deserving candidates.
Head Quarter: Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Mumbai.
