Applications in the prescribed forms are invited for direct recruitment to the following posts by 11th August,2011 in respect of  applications received only BY POST from the candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur,Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, J&K, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, A & N Islands or Lakshadweep or abroad).

1.(Vacancy No.11071401623) Ten  Assistant Director Air Safety (Engineering)/ Senior Air Safety 
Officer (Engineering) in the office of Director General Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation. Out of ten posts, two posts are reserved for Scheduled Castes candidates, one post is reserved for Scheduled Tribes candidates, two posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates and remaining five posts are unreserved. Qualification: Essential: A. EDUCATIONAL: Degree  in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized University.  OR A pass in Associate Membership Examination Parts II & III/ Section A&B of the Aeronautical Society of India. B. EXPERIENCE: Five years` experience in air frame, aircraft structure system/ designs or engines/ power plants or electrical/ instruments/ avionics in a reputed manufacturing/ overhauling / maintenance establishment.  DESIRABLE: i) Experience in investigation of aircraft accidents.
ii) Pilot`s License. iii) Navigator`s License. iv)  Flight Engineers License on modern transport aircraft.
DUTIES: Investigate or assist in investigation of aircraft accidents domestic and foreign registered aircraft
in India and Indian registered aircraft abroad, incidents, precautionary landings, forced landings, air misses
and other potential hazardous situation arising in the air operation and to compile the report thereof and to
carry out the analytical analysis of the happenings  to promote air safety, prepare statistics etc.
Accident/Incident prevention work, Safety audit of airlines/operators, Aerodrome  Inspection, Cabin Crew
Safety, Safety oversight activities.


2.(Vacancy No.11071402623) Forty three  Air Safety Officer (Engineering) in the office of Director 
General Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation. 

Out of forty three posts, five  posts are reserved for
Scheduled Castes candidates, three posts are reserved for Scheduled Tribes candidates, eleven posts are
reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates  and remaining twenty four posts are unreserved.
Qualification: Essential: Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized University.  OR A pass in
Associate Membership examination Parts II & III/  Section A&B of the Aeronautical Society of India.
DESIRABLE:(i)Experience in investigation of aircraft accidents.(ii) Experience as a Pilot or  Navigator.

3.(Vacancy No.11071403223) Three Senior Scientific Officer Grade II (Finger Print) in Central 
Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), Central Bureau of Investigation., Ministry of Home Affairs. 

The posts are unreserved.  Qualification: Essential A. EDUCATIONAL: M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry from a
recognized University or equivalent;and B. EXPERIENCE: Three years  experience in a laboratory in
development and identification of Finger Prints. DESIRABLE: Doctorate degree relevant to Essential
Qualification from a recognized University or equivalent. DUTIES: Reporting Officer of the division.
Conducting the examination/analysis of exhibits in  respective division.  Deposing as an expert witness
when called upon by the court of law.  Research and development work in respective field.  Supervision of
the Scientific work of Scientific staff of the division.  In the absence of the SSO-I, SSO-II to look after the
administrative works of the division.  Any other duties assigned by Director CFSL from time to time.

 4.(Vacancy No.11071404123) Ten Specialist Grade II (Dermatology), Ministry of Health & Family 
Welfare. Central Health Service (Non-Teaching Specialist Sub-Cadre).  Out of the ten posts, one post is
reserved for Scheduled Castes candidates, five posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates
and remaining four posts are unreserved. Qualification :  Essential:  A. EDUCATIONAL:   i)   A recognized
Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule  or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other
than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.  Holders of Educational Qualifications
included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of
Section (13) of the IMC Act, 1956.  ii) Post-Graduate Degree/ Diploma in the concerned specialty i.e. M.D
(Dermatology)/ M.D. (Dermatology and Venereology)/  Specialty Board of Dermatology (USA)/ D.D. or
equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE: Three years` experience in the concerned  speciality after obtaining PostGraduate Degree or five years` experience in the specialty after obtaining the Post-graduate Diploma.
NOTE I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have  the recognition of the
Medical Council of India. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the
qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine.
The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE II: In so far as Post-Graduation Medical qualifications awarded
by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place  in the Schedules to Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. In case of medical posts other than allopathic system of
medicine, the qualification should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system
of medicine.  The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE III: The experience gained should be recognized by
the MCI or the statutory body concerned with the system of medicine  as valid teaching experience for
teaching posts and certificate  therefor or any other valid proof in support thereof should be submitted.
Teaching experience in any other post like the post of General Duty Medical Officer/Medical Officer shall
not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to the teaching posts. NOTE IV:    In the case of
qualifications in Super-Specialities (M.Ch./D.M.) except in the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch. of five years
duration, the holders should have obtained M.D.(General Medicine) or M.S.(General Surgery) or an
equivalent qualification as prescribed by the said council in its recommendations on post graduate medical
examination. NOTE V: In the case of holder of D.M./M.Ch. qualification of five years duration, the period of
Senior Post Graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M/M.Ch. shall be counted towards
requirement of experience.  NOTE VI: Holders of speciality Board of USA qualifications should complete
the entire requirements of the Board concerned. NOTE  VII : Completion of compulsory  Rotating Internship
Certificate, Registration Certificate, an official document showing name  of College/Institution from where
degree/diploma has been done and official document showing name of  the University and College from
where teaching experience has been gained to be furnished.   DUTIES:  To impart theoretical and practical
instructions to Under-graduate / Post-graduate medical students.  To conduct and guide research work in
the specialty.  To render patient care in the Specialty.  Any other duties that may be assigned by the
authorities from time-to-time. HQ: CGHS, Delhi, Allahabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai

Kanpur, A&N Islands & Pune but the selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India and initial
posting will be at A & N Islands.   ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : The other conditions of service will be as
laid down in the CHS Rules, 1996 and  other rules in force from time to  time in particular :-  (a) Private
practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice.  (b)
The candidate selected, if so required, shall be liable to serve in any Defence Service or post connected
with the Defence of India, for a period of not less than four years including the period spent in training, if
any, provided that such officer shall not  i)  be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of 10 years
from the date of appointment or from the date of joining the service.  ii) ordinarily be required to serve as
aforesaid after attaining the age of 45 years.


5.(Vacancy No.11071405223) One Assistant Legislative Counsel (Assamese) in the Official 
Language Wing, Legislative Department, Ministry of Law & Justice.  The post is unreserved.
Qualification: Essential: A (i) Master`s Degree in Law (LLM) from a recognized University or equivalent; and
(ii) Should be a member of State Judicial Service for a period of five years. or Should have held a post in
the legal department of State Government for five years. or Should be a Central Government Servant who
has had experience in legal  affairs for five years.  or Should be a qualified legal practitioner who has
practiced as such for five years. or Should be a teacher of law for five years in a recognized institution.  or
Should have five years experience of translation into Assamese Language of statutes, statutory rules and
orders in Central/State Government  or Should have five years experience of drafting of statutes in
Central/State Government; and (iii) Passed Secondary School Examination or equivalent or any higher
Examination from a recognized Board/ University or equivalent through Assamese Language or had offered
Assamese as a subject in Secondary School Examination or equivalent or any higher examination from a
recognized Board/ University or equivalent. OR B(i) Bachelor`s Degree in  Law (LLB) from a recognized
University or equivalent; and (ii) Should be member of State Judicial Service for a period of seven years. or
Should have held a post in the legal department of State Government for seven years.  or Should be a
Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for seven years.  or Should be a
qualified legal practitioner who has practiced as such for seven years. or Should be a teacher of law for
seven years in a recognized Institution.  or Should have seven years` experience of translation into
Assamese Language of statutes, statutory rules and orders in Central/State Government. or Should have
seven years experience of drafting of statutes in  Central/State Government; and (iii) Passed Secondary
School Examination or equivalent  or any higher Examination from a recognized Board/ University or
equivalent through Assamese Language or had offered  Assamese as a subject in Secondary School
Examination or equivalent or any higher examination from a recognized  Board/ University or equivalent.
DESIRABLE: i) Five years experience of legislative drafting in the Assamese Language in Central/ State
Government. ii) Bachelor`s degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Assamese Language as
a subject or medium at degree level. DUTIES: Preparation of authenticated translation of Central Statutes,
Statutory Rules, Regulations etc. in Assamese Language and give general assistance to Joint Secretary
and Legislative Counsel (Official Language Wing). HQ: New Delhi.

Wing, Legislative Department,  Ministry of Law & Justice.  The post is unreserved. Qualification:

7.(Vacancy No.11071407423) One Junior Scientific Officer in the Directorate General of Employment 
& Training, Ministry  of Labour & Employment. The post is unreserved. Qualification: Essential:
EDUCATIONAL: A. Master`s Degree in Psychology or Education from a recognized University with papers
either in Mental Testing or Educational and Vocational Guidance and Statistics. B. EXPERIENCE: Two
years` experience in the application of Psychological Techniques of Appraisal of Aptitudes and Interests or
Experience in Test Construction. DESIRABLE: Experience in Aptitude Testing Programme for Selection or
Guidance. OR. Experience of Research in the field of Psychology or  Education. DUTIES: Development,
modification, adaptation and standardization of psychological tools to assess the congnitive and behavioral
potentialities of the youth for rendering effective and meaningful guidance and counseling based on their
strengths and weaknesses.  Assisting in organizing and conducting training courses on utilization of
Psychological tools and techniques and preparing the reports thereon.


8.(Vacancy No.11071408123) Twenty Seven Medical Officer in the Directorate of Health Services, 
Andaman & Nicobar Administration. Out of twenty seven posts, two posts are reserved for Scheduled
Tribes candidates, six posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates and remaining nineteen
posts are unreserved.  Out of twenty seven posts,  one post is reserved for Physically Challenged persons
with disability viz. Low Vision (L.V.)/ Hearing Impairment belonging to any community. The posts are also
suitable for Physically Challenged persons with disability viz. Low Vision(L.V.)/Hearing Impairment from any
community. Qualification: Essential:  EDUCATIONAL:   i)   A recognized Medical qualification included in
the First or the Second Schedule  or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate qualifications) to the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.  Holders of Educational Qualifications included  in Part II of the Third
Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section (13) of the IMC Act, 1956.
(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship candidates who may not have completed rotating
internship shall also be eligible to apply for the post, provided that, if selected, they shall have satisfactorily
completed the compulsory internship before appointment.  DUTIES:     The Medical Officer will provide
outpatient and inpatient care in the PHCs and Health Institutions of the A&N Administration.  They are responsible for implementation of all National Health programmes and  normal supervising and
administrative function. HQ: Any place in the A&N Islands where Health Institution under the A&B Admn are functioning.
