JIPMER,Puducherry requires following staff/September 2011



Applications are invited from eligible officers of Central / State Govt. /Autonomous Institutions/Universities / Research Institutions etc. for filling up the following posts on Deputation basis in this Institute.

1. Controller of Examinations (1 No.) - 15600-39100 + GP 7600/- (Pre-revised Rs.12000-16500/-)
Essential:
a)  i) Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis; or;
ii) 5 years regular service in the post in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 + GP 6600/-  
      (Pre-revised 10000-15200);
and possessing
b)     i) Master’s Degree from recognized University or equivalent; and 
ii) 8 years’ experience in academic/conduct of examinations in University/Institutions
   
2. Finance & Chief Accounts Officer (1 No) - 15600-39100 + GP 6600/- (Pre-revised Rs. 10000-
15200 )
Essential:
Officers from Organised Accounts Services/ Organised Accounts Departments holding 
a)  i) analogous posts on regular basis; or 
ii) 5 years regular service in the post in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 + GP 5400/-   
      (Pre-revised Rs. 8000-13500); or equivalent; or
iii) 6 Years regular service in the post in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 + GP 4800/-   
(Pre-revised Rs. 7500-12000); or equivalent; or
iv) 8 Years regular service in the post in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 + GP 4600/-   
(Pre-revised Rs. 6500-10500); or equivalent;
and
b)     i) Graduate from recognized University or equivalent
ii) 5 Years experience in Accounts/ Finance departments

3. Senior Administrative Officer (1 No) - 15600-39100 + GP 6600/- (Pre-revised Rs.10000-15200 )
Essential:
a)  i)    Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis; or;
ii)   5 years regular service in the post in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 + GP 5400/-   
      (Pre-revised Rs. 8000-13500); or
iii) 8 years regular service in the post in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 + GP 4600/-   
(Pre-revised Rs. 6500-10500); 
and
b)     i) possessing 5 years experience in Administration, Establishment and Accounts 
Matters

4. Administrative Officer (1 No.) - 9300-34800 + GP 4800/- (Pre-revised Rs.7500-12000/-)
Essential:
a. i)    holding analogous post on regular basis; or 
ii)   with 2 years’ service in posts in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 + GP 4600
(Pre-revised Rs. 6500-10500/-) or equivalent;   or
iii)  with 6 years’ service in posts in the pay scale of 9300-34800 + GP 4200/-
(Pre-revised Rs. 5500-9000) or equivalent; 
and
b. having experience in the administration, establishment and accounts matters

5. Accounts Officer (2 Nos.) - 9300-34800 + GP 4600/- (Pre-revised Rs.7450-11500/-)
Essential:
a. i) holding analogous post on regular basis; or
ii) with 5 years regular service in posts in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 + GP 4200/-  
(Pre-revised Rs. 6500-10500/-) or equivalent; or
and possessing any one of the following qualifications:
b. i)   a pass in the Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination conducted by 
      any of the organized accounts Departments of the Central Govt.
ii) successful completion of training in cash and accounts work in the Institute
of Secretarial Training and Management or equivalent and possessing 2 years’ 
experience in cash, accounts & budget work. 
II. The departmental Assistant Accounts Officer with 5 years regular service in the grade will 
also be considered along with outsiders and in case he / she is selected for appointment to 
the post the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion.

6. Manager for Press (1 No.) - 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/- (Pre-revised Rs.6500-10500)
Essential:
a) i) holding analogous post on regular basis;  or
ii) with 5 years regular service in the post in the scale of Rs.9300-34800 + GP 
Rs.4200/-;
and
b.   possessing the educational qualifications and experience prescribed as under:
i) Diploma in Printing and Allied Trades; or
ii) Diploma in Offset Printing from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent; 
and
iii) 2 years practical experience in a Printing Press/Establishment.

7. Assistant Registrar (2 Nos.) - 9300 - 34800 + GP Rs. 4600/-  (Pre-revised Rs.6500-10500/-)
Essential:
a. i)  holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
ii) with 5 years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular 
basis in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 + GP 4200/-
(Pre-revised Rs. 5500-9000/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; 
and
b. possessing the following educational qualifications and experience;

i) Degree from recognized University or equivalent; and 

ii)  3 years experience in dealing with admissions and conducting examinations in a University or Educational InstitutionAge Limit:  Not exceeding 56 years as on closing date.

The envelope containing the application form shall be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE
POST OF ___________________________”and shall be sent through proper channel to reach the office
of The Director, JIPMER, Dhanwanthri Nagar Post, Puducherry - 605 006 on or before 25.09.2011.

The following documents should invariably be sent along with the application: 

1. A certificate to the effect that the State Government / Union Territory or the parent Department /
     Organization has “No Objection” to the appointment of the Officer concerned
2. Complete ACR dossier’s /attested copies of ACRs of the applicant for the last five years
3. A certificate about the Integrity of the officer recommended for appointment on Deputation
4. Vigilance Clearance Certificate in respect of the applicant duly signed by an Officer of the appropriate
    Status
5. Certificate, Major / Minor penalties imposed, if any, on the officer for the last 10 years / service period,
    whichever is less.

Deputation period
The period of deputation will initially be for a period of one year that may be extendable up to a further
period not exceeding five years.
Special Note
1. Incomplete applications received without the above mentioned documents will be summarily 
rejected. 
2. In case, the application along with the requisite documents is not received within the stipulated 
time, it would be presumed that the parent organization is not in favour of appointment of the 
applicant on deputation.  
3. The applicants may send advance copies of their applications within the prescribed time limit. The 
advance copies may be considered in the processing stage. 
4. However, without receiving the original applications with all the above documents in original from 
their respective parent departments, the applicants will not be considered for appointment to any of 
the above posts. 
5. The Institute will not be responsible for collection of any of the above mentioned documents. 
6. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered. 
7. This Institute will not also be responsible for any postal or other delay in this respect.
