Applications are invited up to 15 th October, 2011 for the post of Technician ‘A’ at this Institute.

Technician ‘A’ (One),

Scale of Pay: PB-1- Rs. 5200-20200 plus Grade pay Rs. 1900

Qualification and Experience:

Essential: 10+2 with science subjects or H.S.C. (science) or equivalent from a recognized board with one-year certificate course in Medical Lab. Technology (CMLT)

Job Requirement: To assist in research and referral service of the Institute.

Age: Below 28 years.

Other Details:-

1. The age relaxed by 5 years for Govt. Servant, SC,ST and Physically handicapped Candidates and by 3 years for OBC ( Non-Creamy layer) subject to production of certificates from competent authorities.
2. Benefits of New restructured defined Pension system are admissible as per the Provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division) Notification No. 5/7/2003-ECB & PR dated 22.12.2003 effective from 1.1.2004.
3. Applications on plain paper along with Bio-data and attested copies of Certificates, Testimonials, Caste Certificate (SC/ST/Non-Creamy OBC Certificate for appointment in Govt. of India) experience Certificate shall be forwarded to theDIRECTOR, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF IMMUNOHAEMATOLOGY (ICMR), 13 th floor, New Multistoreyed Complex, K.E.M. Hospital Campus, Parel, Mumbai – 400012. before the due date.
4. A Demand Draft or a Postal Order for Rs. 100/- in favour of DIRECTOR, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF IMMUNOHAEMATOLOGY, MUMBAI payable at Mumbai should be enclosed with the applications. SC/ST/Physically handicapped candidates only are exempted from this payment.
5. Application from Candidates working in Central / State Government or PSU should be forwarded through proper channel.
6. Incomplete / late application or those without Postal Order / Demand Draft and without copies of Certificates will not be entertained and rejected.
7. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to Selection / recruitment shall be deemed as disqualification.
8. Selection will be by Competitive test and Interview. Since it is not possible to call all the eligible candidates for the competitive test / interview the applicants will be short-listed. Short listed candidates will be called for test and further short listed candidates only will be called for interview.
9. The decision of the Director, NIIH will be final in this regard.
