ADVERTISEMENT FOR WALK IN INTERVIEW TO FILL UP PROJECT POSITIONS
Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for purely temporary project positions of Project
Asstt.(Admn.) On contract basis as per the details given below to maintain the
publication/computer/instrumentation laboratory under the Head, AHEC, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee
and appear for the interview on Nov. 29, 2011 at 11.00 a.m. in AHEC.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Project Assistant(Admn.)-B (Rs. 12000-18000 +HRA)
(i) Graduate degree with 2 years work experience as Sr. Assistant or equivalent post/scale
In case of Account/Audit/Cash:
Graduate degree Preferably commerce with 2 years work experience as UDC or equivalent
post/scale.
In case of Stores/Stock Verification:
Graduate degree with 2 years relevant work experience of Stores/Stock Verification at the level
of Sr. Asstt. or equivalent post/scale.
Project Assistant(Admn.)-C (Rs. 14000-20000 +HRA)
Graduate degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or Business Management. At least 5 years work
experience in the actual conduct of meetings/ examinations and/or adequate experience of
supervisory work as Jr. Superintendent level in a Govt. office or in educational Institution or in
business organization of repute.
Desirable: Knowledge of office procedures, rules & regulations generally operative in Govt.
office or in Educational Institutions including experience in handling work in connection with
meetings & conferences. Working knowledge of computer.
In case of Accounts/Audit/Cash:
Graduate of a recognized University, sufficient knowledge of fundamental & supp. rules,
account code, G.F. rules, rules of Central Govt. Has passed an accounting exam such as
subordinate accounts service, costing etc. NOTE:
1. Persons employed should submit their application through proper channel and at the time of interview
they should produce no objection certificate from the employers.
2. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
3. Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they
intend to apply.
Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit/produce the following materials at the time
of Interview along with attested copies of marks sheets/certificates/testimonials and a demand draft drawn on the
State Bank of India, IIT, Roorkee Branch (code no. 1069) or on the Punjab National Bank, IIT, Roorkee Branch
(code no. 4044) for Rs. 100/- in favour of Dean (SRIC), Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee should
also be attached with the application.
Application in a plain paper with detailed CV including chronological discipline of degree/certificates
obtained.
Experience including research, industrial, field and others.
Original and attested copies of degree/certificate and experience certificate.
The interview will be held in AHEC Committee Room on Nov. 29, 2011 at 11.00 a.m.
