Applications are invited for the posts of Executive Directors in the Pay Band
(PB-4) 37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs.10000 (plus allowances as per
Central Government Rules), to be filled by Direct Recruitment / Transfer
(Absorption) / Deputation basis.
There are two posts of the Executive Directors, nominally for its centres in
C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuarm and Noida. However, the selected candidates
should be willing to take up the assignment of Executive Directors and
relocate at any other C-DAC centres in India, heading the centre.

Society of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of
Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. C-DAC's
areas of expertise range from R&D work in Foundation Technologies to Product
Development, IP Generation, Technology Transfer and Deployment of
Solutions in various sectors directly or through partnership model. Primary
Thematic or Thrust Areas addressed by C-DAC are: High Performance
Computing and Grid Computing; Language Computing & Speech Processing;
Computer Science & Software Technologies including Free & Open Source
Software; Professional Electronics including VLSI & Embedded Systems;
Cyber-Security and Cyber Forensics; Health Informatics; and Education and
Training. The R&D Work, resultant products, solutions systems and services
are deployed in a variety of sectors in Government, Industry, Enterprises and
Public. In addition, Education & Training Programmes focused on high and
specialized technical courses and finishing school type modules of relevance to
industry.
Persons working in Government/ PSUs/autonomous bodies may send their
application through proper channel, along with photocopies of ACRs of the last
five years duly attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or
equivalent and vigilance/ disciplinary clearance. The integrity of the officer
may also be certified along with a certificate that no minor / major penalty has
been imposed on him.

the advertisement are liable to be rejected.
2. Only short – listed candidates will be called for interview. Mere fulfilling of
requirement as laid down in the advertisement does not qualify a candidate
to be called for interview.
